Mall Haul and FOTD: NYC mainly

Hello beauties! today while my kids were at school I decided to treat myself to a little retail therapy. It was much needed! It is a rare occasion for me to just go spend the day getting stuff for me and no one else. It might sound selfish but if your a mom then you totally know what I am talking about. So I headed to the mall closest to me and shopped around and got some great deals! I got 3 pairs of jeans and then a couple tank tops and shirts. I didn't do pictures of those just because they were so basic nothing frilly or fun. My first stop was Jcpenney and boy oh boy am I glad I decided to go there! I actually seen a post from http://vintagesotherblog.blogspot.com/ before I left this morning and she scored some awesome deals from there I'm talking $2 for a pair of shoes and she got a few! There was one pair that I loved so I had to look for that one when I got there and they happen to have one more in my size...score! I was so hoping to find that deal but sadly I didn't buuuut I still got a good deal. I got 4 pairs for $50...I saved  $150 just in shoes! Here are the shoes I got:

This is the pair I seen on her blog and fell in love with! I have been looking everywhere for some cute flower wedges that I like and these look so cute when they are on:

 I thought these were some fun sandals. I haven't had any like these:

Last but not least are my favorite from all these shoes I got. They are so cute on. I can't wait to wear them!:

 Can you tell I love wedges! If I only could ever by one type of shoe it would be wedges. I just love them!

Then next I headed to target to pick up some shampoo and conditioner. I had tried this kind from a sample and fell in love with it. It makes my hair so soft and manageable:

 It smells really good too.

My last stop was Old Navy I got one of my pairs of jeans there and shirts and then headed for the accesories. I was blown away by how much more they had and how much cute stuff they had now. I used to be able to only find 1 or 2 cute earrings but today there was a ton of stuff I wanted. I settled for 2 necklaces this time:

  

I love how simple yet girly they are =)

Now for my FOTD: Using NYC products

I decided today to only use the NYC products that I won. Well I stayed true to most of it except for powder and eyeliner and that is only because I didn't receive those so I actually used powder I got from my birchbox and then my mark eyeliner but the rest is NYC stuff:

I am pretty happy with all of the products so far. It was so hard choosing what eyeshadow palette I wanted to use though! I really like the colors in these. I will use often. As for the mascara it wasn't a standout product to me. I had to layer and layer to get to what was ok to me but it didn't clump at all so that was nice. I will use it here and there but it won't be one that I would go out and buy. Also, the blush I won't buy again either. I do like it but I have to get a lot on my brush for it to show up on me. I will give more reviews on the foundation and concealer once I have used them a bit more =)
