My favorite 10 item's in the month of May

Hello beauties!

Wow I can't believe May is over! It has definitely been a busy month for me so maybe that's why it went so fast but I definitely had a fun month. So now it's time for my favorite's of the month. I absolutely love doing these posts  and reading them too. I hope you like that I do 10 items for these posts!?

Here is what I have been loving the month of May:

1* Naked Palette...I can't believe I went so long without it! I just love this palette!

2*My sigma F80 flat top kabuki~ this brush is seriously amazing. I love it and have been using it everyday since I got it!

3*Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara~  it doesn't clump and has a nice brush.

4*Estee Lauder double wear concealer~ I don't know why I haven't put this in an earlier favorites. It is my go to concealer and I haven't found one I like more yet. Would like too though for a cheaper price! haha

5* Vanilla Cream candle~ I bought this at walmart and it smells so yummy! I'm a huge vanilla fan. I love most anything that has vanilla.

6*Amber Romance from Victoria's Secret~ I can't believe I haven't bought this before. It's such a great smell and is my go to lately.

7*Sinful Color's Nail Polish in color Hazard~ LOVE this color...which I am sure my faithful readers know how much I love it so far! haha I say go get it if you don't have it. Perfect summer color.

8*NYX HD studio photogenic grinding blush~ Such a pretty pink color and goes on so nice. Very pigmented so you only need a tiny bit. I learned that my first time using it! Oops!!

9*Burt's Bees replenishing lip balm~

 this is my daily go to for a nice chapstick. Goes on nice and not a bit sticky.

10* Revlon Colorburst lipstick in color Pink Sugar

Such a pretty pink color but if you don't like shimmer you won't like this. I however love shimmer and glitter and all that so I really like this. I use any light pink or clear lipgloss too go over it and it looks so pretty!

My 7 facts:

1) Started my life a little backwards: Got with my now husband in high school(yay for high school sweethearts!) and my first 2 kids before I turned 20(3rd came along when I was 23). I am so happy though and even through the tough times I would not change a thing...It made me who I am today.

2) I have 3 dogs, and 2 cats who are my furry babies. I wish I had more property to save more animals. My passion is too open up a shelter for unwanted animals to live out their lives in a happy place.

3)I have never tried MAC products.

4)I LOVE sweets! I have the HUGEST sweet tooth that sometimes drives me crazy!!

5)I am addicted to reality tv....it drives my hubby crazy! Right now I am loving Real housewives of Jersey, Real housewives of orange county, Real world, Audrina, So You Think You Can Dance, Teen mom, and Deadliest Catch are only naming a few!

6)I think my fav makeup product is lipgloss. I have tons and always want one more. Everytime I shop my eyes always go straight for the lip products.

7) I love to bake...especially cupcakes. It is so fun and is a big stress reliever for me. I think I may post pics of when I bake cupcakes just cause I really do love it!

Fango Brillante brightening mud mask review

Hi all!

so today I am reviewing Fango Brillante brightening mud mask. I had a coupon for 6 dollars off of $28 I believe(don't know exact price it was)at costco and seen that people really loved it so I couldn't pass it up!

What the box says about it:

Rehydrate, revitalize and give your skin a new radiance. Fango Brillante helps to even out skin tone as it gently soothes and refines.

Continued use leaves skin looking brighter, clearer, and younger.

so who wouldn't want to try that right!!? I really wanted too because I do have discoloration and spots from sun and acne.

Directions For face:

apply to clean face and leave on for 5 minutes.

Rinse with warm water, or remove with a damp cloth or sponge.

Avoid eye area

For body:

apply to body and leave on for 10 to 15 minutes

rinse off in a warm bath or under a warm shower.

use once or twice a week

suitable for all skin types.

Here is a few pics before I give my opinion on it =)

I have to say I love the packaging of this and the jar it came in! It shuts very tightly too so you know it won't dry up. It is nice and smooth feeling when you put it on. I love that it only takes 5 minutes too! Quick and easy! The only thing people may not like is the feeling you have when you put this on your face. Its like a slight burning/cooling sensation...weird to describe but that's the way it feels on me. It doesn't bother me too much at all just right when I put it all over my face I am like WHOA! haha and I have done it when I was going through a cold and when I put this around my nose that felt horrible just because I was using tissue's on it all day so it was very sensitive. So I learned to not put in around my nose during a cold or bad allergies.

I have not used this on my body and don't really plan too. My main concern when I bought this was for my face.

As for brightening I can't really say a whole lot because I haven't used it a ton yet but for the times I have my face felt refreshed, soft and I think my face had a nice glow too it afterwards. I really like it and really hope it does what it says with continued use.

I say buy it and try it!!

Hey all!

So I don't know if anyone is having problems but I can't comment on a lot of peoples blog posts =( I try to and then it takes me to the sign in page so I do my email password then it takes me back to the comment to do the letter code you have to put in. Well then after that it takes me right back to the sign in page and just does that over and over! UGH!! I want to comment on stuff and I can't...so if you know what fixes that or any ideas please let me know.

What I think about it:

Shoes!!

Hi all!

So I do this monthly shoe club where you pay $39.95 a month and get a pair of shoes or a handbag. You take a style quiz at the beginning and then Every month they pick 6 shoes and 6 handbags for you. You can cancel at anytime and you can skip a month whenever you want it just has too be before the 5th of the month. Here is the link Justfab so you can see more info and sign up if you want =). Also if you sign up it gives me some reward points and same too you for everyone who signs up through your link. Once you get too 100 points you get a free item. I have gotten a few so far and love it. It's a great idea! I got my new shoes today that I used my reward points for. I love them!

I would of shown on foot but I still have to paint my nails so I didn't want to show how they are now! haha but anyways I can't wait too wear these. I LOVE wedges!

May Birchbox!

Hey all!

So I finally got my Birchbox for this month. I always get so excited when I receive this little box of goodies in the mail. It's only my 2nd one so far but I just love it and the whole idea of it! So before I ramble I will get on to the pictures =)

The soap smells so good! I love pomegranate!

I don't like the perfume. Just not my smell at all and I don't care for it on me either.

I have tried Ahava before and liked it so I am sure I will like this one too.

The card as you can see is super cute. here is what the inside looks like:

but what I was super excited for was when I opened it and seen the stila eyeshadow! I heard about people getting them this month and I so hoped I would. I have never tried stila eyeshadow's and probably wouldn't just go out and buy one eyeshadow for $18 so super happy I got this and I love the color which is called barefoot contessa. I will put the picture up that I swatched of it but it just doesn't do it justice.  It is just such a pretty brown color definitely happy they chose this color for this neutral lovin gal!

Haul time!

Hey all!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Mine was crazy busy but so much fun! Sunday was my daughter's 11th birthday so she decided she wanted to go shopping and a movie, so that is what we did! Wasn't gonna argue with that. Anytime shopping is involved I am ready!haha Anyways, so we went and seen the movie Prom and it turned out too be super cute and then cruised the mall and stopped wherever she wanted and of course a couple places I wanted and here is what I ended up getting:

Victoria's secret had an awesome deal buy 7 for $35 and get the 8th free so I had too! Victoria's secret is my favorite place for body sprays and lotions. I am a sucker for them every time I go by that store! So of course I had to do this deal. The 8th isn't pictured cause I let my daughter pick what she wanted. Then my mom ended up doing the same deal and my daughter got her free one too. She was a happy girl! My 2 absolute favorite scents from there are Pure Seduction and Love Spell. I will never ever let myself run out of those smells. So yummy!!

EEEEEEEEK!! OK got that out but I am so excited I finally got:

THE NAKED PALETTE!!

I was so excited when I had seen it was in stock and I have been wanting it for so long I just had to get it! I can't wait too use it. It is so pretty and I love all the colors! I also got a sample for a face primer cause I am trying hard to find one to help my oiliness. This one is by Bare essentials called Primetime oil control. Any of you ladies used this?

and last we had to stop at walmart to get a couple things and of course I headed straight for the beauty section!

Got some hair stuff I really needed and then got some wax melts...These scents are so nummy!!! I just recently started using these and love them. I am a huge scentsy fan but they get so spendy then I found these and for 2 bucks a piece I couldn't resist. Great buy too. Smells up my whole house and lasts all day long.

Then I went too see the nail polish and this was the last one I could find of this color(Mint Sorbet) which I have been looking for for a long time and found it. Woo hoo! Also got 2 lipsticks too try out Revlon Colorburst lipstick in color Pink sugar(I can't wait to try this out. It is so pretty!) and L'oreal in color Fairest Nude which I am really hoping I like on me!

So there it is, got lots of good stuff and had a great day with my daughter!

Wow!!! Thankyou all so much!!

So I did my post for the day and noticed I have 75 followers!! I am just so shocked and so very thankful. When I started this I just thought it would be something fun to do in my spare time because I loved and admired all of you who did it. Seemed like so much fun so hey why not give it a try...I got my first few followers and was ecstatic! I thought wow they take their time to come see my thoughts, they are awesome! and now I have 75! I just love it so much and I love reading all your blogs. I'm so glad you all like mine and I hope you continue to like it! If there is any type of post you would like me to do please tell me! FOTD with a brighter eye

Hey all and happy friday the 13th! I wonder if that was the reason blogger went crazy?! haha

Well anyways I know I did a FOTD on wednesday but I decided today to play with brighter colors. I always love how Makeup and Meme(check her blog out!) does her eyes when she does bright colors and she mentioned in a comment that I should go for it so I did! Now its nothing great and I am still totally in learning mode with these bright colors but I think for my first time with this I did ok =)

I definitly still tried to keep it low key and did a little more blending after I took pics since I am soooo not use to bright colors on my eyes. I am kinda likin it though but still kinda like hmmmm so, I guess I will know by the end of my day if I really do end up liking it.

My E.L.F hits and misses

Hey all!

So last weekend I did a E.L.F haul post to show you what I got. You can see that post and swatches if you click HERE. So now I thought I would do more of a review of what I liked, what I didn't like, and what is just so so to me and why. I guess I will start with what I loved...

*The blush and bronzer duo*

so pretty and I love the shimmer it has! Goes on super easy and a little definitely goes a long way for me.

* The complexion powder*

I had no clue how this would work for me but had seen so many positive reviews I had to try it and I am glad I did! I like to use it over my liquid foundation as a setting powder. It doesn't totally help with all the redness but it does a good enough job for me! I say try it if you haven't.

*Eyelash curler*

Love how this curls my lashes!

*Conditioning lip balm*

Goes on super nice and easy. Very pretty color for a balm and doesn't have bad taste or smell too it. I will definitely get more of these.

Last but certainly not least

*eyelid primer*

I gotta tell you I had no high hopes for this whatsoever! I totally thought it would fail me and just not work. I do have somewhat oily eyelids so I just didn't think it would work but had to try it and wow I was wrong!! I works so good for me it ranks right up there with Urban Decay Primer Potion! Now I don't know how it will last for a long night or party so I can't say it lasts all night but it does last through the day for me. I just really couldn't believe how good it worked. I am so happy it did since its so cheap!! I will definitely keep this in my makeup drawer!! Go try it if you haven't!

Eh...these are the products that are not the worst but really didn't work for me:

*The mineral infused face primer*

Didn't really do a thing for me at all and didn't help with my oilyness at all which is the main reason I bought it too see if it would help. I'm constantly trying to find something for my oily tzone so if you know of something that helps please please let me know!

*zit zapper*

I don't see it doing a thing. I have a couple pimples that I wanted to be gone but this really didn't help for me. I guess I will stick to what I know will help or maybe it's cause I haven't used it for long enough. I dunno but it just really didn't impress me.

And now for the stuff I won't buy again:

*Natural lashes*

They don't even look the same too me...one is cut too short in spots and they just don't look that natural to me at all.

 *eyebrow treat and tame*

I got the color dark and its not at all the dark color I thought it would be. I was hoping a dark brown color. I also switched the wands to see if I would like it a bit better but really I just don't like it at all. Just doesn't work for me and it's probably cause the color was so off to me. I think I will try what I have seen a lot of bloggers use. the maybelline clear mascara?

*eyeshadow duo's*

I got 2 cream and 1 regular and like none =( the cream ones crease no matter what I do and I just don't care for them at all and the regular I really didn't care for the color when I put it on. Oh well I am glad I got too try to at least see what I like and didn't like.

A fun NOTD

Hey all! Decided to share a fun NOTD with you all =)

  So my youngest daughter decided she wanted to paint her own nails instead of having me paint them today, so I told her go ahead and pick out the color or colors she wants from my nail polish drawer. She picked sugar sugar by sinful colors and Free fall by pure ice.

And this is how she did:

I say pretty good for a 6 year old =)

She was very proud and is turning into my little beauty monster! She loves getting into my makeup and nail polish drawers to play and to try to get stuff from me. She is always asking if I really need something because she wants it and really needs it! haha

Sinful colors nail polish haul

Hey all! So I decided to get some sinful colors nail polish off walgreens.com while they were on sale. I decided just to go off the swatches from online and see what I get and what they actually look like. I never rely on the online swatches, I swear they are always off! I took a chance just cause they were only .99 cents so why not! here are the pics...

From left to right:

Social ladder,Glass Pink, Beautiful Girl, Mint Apple, Hazard, All About You, and Hotspot

Social Ladder(done with 2 coats)

My thoughts: Very pretty but probably one I wouldn't buy again. I think I will try putting it on top of another color to see what it's effect is.

Glass Pink(done with 2 coats)

My thoughts:

I think its very similar to social ladder except for its a bit more pinkish. I think only doing one coat makes them look even more alike. I prefer this one over social ladder just because it has the more pinkish tone to it. This is another one I will probably layer over a different color.

Beautiful Girl(done with 3 coats)

My thoughts:

 I really love the color of this one but really dislike that I have to do 3 coats or more to achieve its color.

Mint Apple(done with 2 coats)

My thoughts:

Love this color!!! I don't think I have ever wore a color like this and can't believe it has taken me this long to get a color like this. I was hoping it was more like the mint green that is really popular right now but oh well cause I still love it. Definitely will use this a lot!

Hazard(done with 2 coats)

My thoughts:

Another color I would normally not buy but I actually really like it...I think that in the pic it looks a bit brighter than what it looks like in person. I like that its not the bright orange its more of a corally orange color. Definitely a good summer color I think.

Hot Spot(done with 2 coats)

My thoughts:

I am not a fan of blue nail polish. I think its pretty but just don't care for it on me. I seen the swatch and thought it would be darker than it is so I could see if I would like it but it's not so I probably won't use this a whole lot if at all.

All about you(done with 2 coats)

My thoughts:

This is another one I know I will use a lot especially to go over other colors. I have never have had a gold glitter nail polish before so it will be fun to play with this and see what kind of combo's I can come up with. I think I would wear it alone too but probably add another coat.

All in all I am happy with my purchase and what I got. I think that since they were so cheap I got to experiment a little more than if they were normal price(which I know is not a lot but this mama of 3 needs to budget!haha) or if they were more pricey brands of nail polish. Wet n Wild Mega Eyes Cream Liner

Hey all! So this is my first creme liner from Wet n Wild and I am pretty happy with it!

I picked this up after seeing a couple reviews on it so of course had to try it for myself =)

What I like:

*Goes on super smooth.

*Lasts a long time

*Can give a great dramatic eye and its great for doing the winged out look.

*Great for just an everyday eye if you have a good thin brush.

*I love how black the color is. Seems like with some eyeliners you keep having to go over and over to get it to be really dark. This takes one line and your good to go. (if that makes sense!)

*The price! I picked this up for around $3.00(can't remember exact price)

What I don't like:

*The brush it comes with. Don't even try a thin close line to your lashes with this one. Plus with how small it is I feel like I don't have the total control I want.

*No trying to smudge this liner. I tried the first time just because I used the brush it came to see how it would do. I didn't like how big the line was after using the brush and I really didn't wanna have to start all over, so I wanted to try too soften the line and learned that If you try smudging this liner you will have tiny black flakes all over you cheeks and eye area.

Other than that I am really happy and will continue too use this. Can't beat the price! I say go try it if you haven't and if you have...How do you like it?
