June Favorites + Naked eye, Bold lip FOTD

Hi Beauties!

Wow the end of another month. It just goes way to quick. I think I spaced and forgot to do my May favorites so I wanted to make sure I didn't forget June! I love Favorites posts :)
Lets get right to it:
Revlon Whipped foundation:
This is now my go to foundation. I love it!

e.l.f Baked blushes:
Amazing! I use at least one of these everyday since getting them. I use the lightest one as a highlighter and totally recommend it. It is so pretty.

Revlon Balm Stain in shade Honey:
This is like my go to one of these. I love the color on me.

essence stay with me lip gloss:
Great everyday color.

Milani HD advanced lip color in shade ignition:
I have rediscovered this. I actually won it and only tried it once. That was kinda when I wasn't crazy about bold colors. Something has changed in me though cause I can't get enough of the bold lip colors!

Overall Beauty mineral eyeshadow in shade Viridian:
This is such a gorgeous blue color with gold tones. I love that I can wear this by itself for a quick look.

e.l.f polish in coral:
Gorgeous color. enough said:)

Orly Jealous, Much?
Anything that is this color or similar I am in love with!

Sinful Colors Cinderella:
After searching forever I finally got it and love it! It is such a pretty color.

Julep fast dry topcoat:
Just a great topcoat that speeds things up!

Next up is my FOTD today
I am all about Naked or next to Naked eyes when wearing bright lips. I just love the way it looks. So simple but so fun at the same time with that pop of color on the lips.
I used my Naked palette for my eyes. Using buck in the crease and virgin in corners bringing it towards middle of eyelids so it gives my eyes some brightness without being too much.
for my lips I am using the Milani Hd advanced lip color in ignition. It actually is a bit brighter than what the picture shows.
I also have on the balms hot mama blush and am in love with the color!

What are your favorites this month?

Revlon Photoready 3D Volume Mascara Review + A new Lip Butter

Hi Beauties!
Awhile back I had a Revlon haul and this mascara was apart of it. I knew I needed to try it out and review it. It is all about the Volume or so it claims.
Well I think I have tried it out enough to know I just don't like it.
On the back of the package it says, easily creating the appearance of bigger, bolder volume. Uhhhh Where the heck is the volume part at?! I didn't get that on my lashes at all. Did I get a dud?! Well whatever it is I just didn't see any volume whatsoever.  Revlon is probably my favorite drugstore brand but man they just don't know mascara that well! Every one I have tried from them so far is a dud! I will stick to all the other products with them but I will not buy more mascara.

As you can see It just doesn't do much for me. The pictures below look like I am barely wearing mascara at all and I did 2 thick coats!

Onto a happier Revlon product! A new lip butter! Well, used but new to me :) I recently bought this from a blog sale for $1! Yup I said a $1! (Oh, I love a blog sale!)
This shade is Raspberry Pie and I love it. This is one that I feel is totally moisturizing and I don't have to worry about any type of chapstick under it. I have been feeling more and more comfortable with me and bold lips so I can't wait to rock this more!
(Pssst...It is also what I am wearing in the pictures above)

Is there any drugstore Volume Mascara you recommend me trying?

Model in a Bottle Setting Spray Review

Hi Beauties!

Oh Hautelook how I love you!

I recently got Model in a Bottle setting spray from hautelook because I am on the search for something to help keep my oily skin matte(Oh you oily skin you drive me crazy!) I have used the UD all nighter and I really like it but it didn't help a ton with my shininess. Well I have to look no more because I think I found me a winner!

So I was actually doing my makeup for a review post(notice that blue eyeliner) the same day I tried this out. Just in case your like wait? what? same picture, different post? Is she tricking us?
It was a busy product review day for me!
Anyways, did my makeup, sprayed this and honestly waited for it to fail. Nothing against the product but knowing my face I didn't have high hopes.
Then kept checking and checking, still no need to touch up my face. Really?!
In fact, I didn't touch up all day!
I also had this on when I recently went to a concert. Anyone who has been to an indoor concert knows it can get hot and a little sweaty especially when your dancing and moving all around. My makeup looked great when I left. Yes, I was a little shiny but that is a given when I also was dancing and screaming like a crazy woman! The only thing I felt I needed to touch up was my lipstick that night!
This does has a strong scent though. It might be too strong for some. I actually enjoy it. It's like makeup setting spray/perfume for my face. Sweet! haha
I get whiffs of it here and there but it doesn't smell bad at all to me. I know some have more issues with smells and sensitivity so I do wanna throw that out there.
There is also a skin sensitive formula so if you have any sensitivities I would try that.
I don't know if hautelook will have this again...Hopefully! But, you can find it on their site for $18 a bottle which isn't too bad in my opinion.

The one on the left was taken at 10am
The one on the right was taken at 6pm
8 Hours and no touchups! I love this stuff!

Have you checked out Hautelook? If not I would be so happy if you used my referral link :)

equate Exfoliating Cleansing Towelettes Review

Hi Beauties!

If  your like me and like to get your makeup face off quickly at night then these will be great for you!
I recently tried Simple Cleansing wipes and really liked them but didn't want to pay $6 for 25 wipes.
Then I found these while browsing at Wal-Mart. For $6.97(or around that price) You get 2 packs of Cleansing Towelettes, a total of 120 wipes, and to me these work just as good as others I have tried.
I like that they really get all the makeup off leaving my face clean and feeling fresh.
There is no sticky or slimy residue left on your face at all.
These also exfoliate, leaving skin feeling nice and soft. One side has the exfoliating texture and the other side is soft. I use the soft side to get my eye makeup off then use the exfoliating side for the rest of my face.
There was no issue with it irritating my skin or eyes. After using them around my eye area they didn't bug me one bit.
I will be sticking with these from now on.

As you can see in the picture above, they are good size Towelettes. I can get away with using just one wipe to get all my makeup off.

Have you tried these?

My first attempt at a Jelly Sandwich Mani!

Hi Beauties!
I had to try one of these mani's.
Maribeth over at obsessive cosmetic hoarders unite always has amazing nail pictures and she has done a few jelly sandwich mani's that I love. I kept wanting to try and then just went for it! I don't think mine came out nearly as good as hers but I am happy with my first attempt!!

I tried mine with sugar coat and pet my peacock.

Have you tried this type of Mani before?

Julep lip plumping gloss....HORRIBLE!

Hi beauties
I am not a happy camper right now! I was all excited cause I got my missing product from my Julep mystery box. They were really nice about it and got it shipped right away. I got it thinking it was so pretty when I opened it up and then I put it on.....
BIG MISTAKE!

I put it on and nothing then I started to feel tingling, thinking it was normal I kept it on for probably another minute then decided I didn't want to deal with that feeling anymore.
Then...
I took it off and headed to the mirror and they looked HORRIBLE! I instantly grabbed my phone to take some pictures.

Looks pretty huh???!

Well look at what id did to my lips!
Not the best quality but my lips really look this bad! I only have chapstick on because my lips feel horrible and I had to get something on them right away. The edges have a thick red line all around and they never look like this. I look like I have some serious clown lips!

NOT. HAPPY. AT. ALL.
Nothing on my lips but chapstick in this picture!

I only left this stuff on for maybe a few minutes and this is what happened. I am SO glad I have nowhere to go right now!!

I think Julep needs to rethink this stuff or just stick to manicure stuff only. I have read a few people had a bad reaction like this
 :(

I think that if you think you have even slightly sensitive skin to not use this. I don't recommend at all.

LASplash Liquid liner and Mascara Review

Hi beauties!
Got a new review for you! I figured I would do a 2 in 1 deal since I used them both the same day.
**Review after the pictures**

I will start with the mascara
I like my lashes looking thick, dark, and noticeable. This just didn't do it for me.
With my lashes as long and thin as they are I need only one thing in mascara and that is VOLUME! That is the only thing I look for when buying mascara. I felt this just didn't do anything for my lashes and if not careful I could end up with spider leg looking lashes. I think this would be better suited with someone who has thick eyelashes.
Mascara retails for $6.99 on LASplash Website

As for the liner:
LOVE. It is a gorgeous blue color that just pops out! Great for easy makeup day when you want your eyes noticeable but not wanting to do much.
It went on so super easy with great color payoff. I loved that I didn't have to go over and over the line to get the achieved color. I did 2 straight lines on each eye and got the color I wanted.
I am definitely going to get more of these!
They retail for $6.99 on LASplash Website

Have you tried any LASplash products?
*This was sent to me free for review. All opinions are how I 100% honestly feel and that is how it always will be! :)
