Mariah Carey for OPI, Liquid Sand Polish: The Impossible

When I heard Mariah Carey was coming out with a line of polish for OPI, I was excited. I have loved her for so long. I used to put on shows when I was younger and sing her songs for anyone that would watch me. So of course I was hoping to love the whole line. Well, I like some but feel I don't NEED most. 

Then I started to hear about this whole liquid sand polish stuff. I was like oh great, I am not going to like this. After seeing a few of my fellow blogger post theirs, I figure I should give one a try. I chose this one because it had stars in it. 

As far as the polish goes, I actually like it. I don't think I will go buy the rest of them since I am content with just this one. Its definitely different, but a good different. This isn't for those that like the shiny smooth finish though. It really does look like a pretty sand on your nails(feels like it too)

You can try it with a topcoat to get that shiny finish but I tried that and didn't care for it at all. I prefer it the way it says to apply. Stars however were a pain in the butt to apply. I had to fish for them every time and a few didn't want to lay as flat as I would've liked. With all that said though, I would buy this again if I ran out because I do find it unique and fun to wear. 

It was hard to capture the texture of it and how it does sparkle in the sunlight. I tried my best!
